Mercy Partners Pilgrimage 2021: Travelling a Well-lit Path
Walking the Well-lit Path
Reflecting on the path of mercy, justice, hospitality and compassion laid down by our founders Catherine McAuley, Nano Nagle, St Francis and St Clare of Assisi.
Walking paths of compassion, hospitality, mercy and hope.
Mercy Partners is now taking expressions of interest for our second combined-charism pilgrimage which is planned for 2021 when Australian government travel restrictions are removed. The pilgrimage is open to all leaders in Mercy Partners ministries, Sisters, Stewards, Council and Committee members. Pilgrims will travel to Assisi, La Verna, San Damiano, Cork, Ballygriffin, Dublin, George's Hill and Glendalough.
Pilgrimage updates will be available throughout the year and during the pilgrimage at Mercy Partners Pilgrimage Facebook page.
How to register your interest
To register your interest please download the flyer and expression of interest form and return the completed form to Libby Blom by Friday 26 June 2020.
Once Mercy Partners Council approves the 12 participants to join the pilgrimage, a registration form will be forwarded to each pilgrim. Having said that, no money will be requested until the Australian government has reinstated international travel and all of the cities on our pilgrimage are no longer ‘do not travel’ destinations.
We will provide an update on the status of this event by the end of August 2020.
